The NCWP celebrated its 25th year of collaboration striving to manage streamflow, and improve riparian condition and water quality in the Nose Creek watershed in 2023. To mark the occasion, the NCWP hosted its 25th Anniversary Celebration and Science Forum on October 12, 2023, in Airdrie, AB. Nearly 60 people attended the event, including several of the NCWP’s Alumni.

 

The event was kicked-off with opening remarks from Mayor Harris, Town of Crossfield and Mark Bennett, retired Executive Director, Bow River Basin Council, and past Board member. Presentations were made on recent studies in the watershed, including riparian condition, hydrologic assessments, and fisheries research. Thank you to everyone who joined us in the celebration!
